One thing stood out in particular at practice Wednesday at Sharks Ice in San Jose - forward Ryane Clowe did not take the ice.

Clowe, who missed Game 6 with an upper-body injury, did receive treatment and worked out. And he attended the team meeting. According to coach Todd McLellan, Clowe is feeling better and will be a game-time decision for Game 7 against the Red Wings tonight at HP Pavilion.

Without Clowe in Detroit on Tuesday, San Jose was held to one goal. Clowe has a team-best 13 points this postseason.

"Definitely, we missed him," Sharks forward Devin Setoguchi said. "He's our leading scorer in the playoffs. But they're missing one of their big guys, too, and we have so much depth, we just need some other guys to step up."

Detroit's primary question mark, forward Johan Franzen, is unlikely to go tonight because of an ankle injury, but Red Wings coach Mike Babcock said Wednesday that if Franzen lobbies to play, he'll listen.
