Rebounding to his career averages in home runs and runs batted in is well worth the price of being on pace to set a major league record for strikeouts, as far as Adam Dunn is concerned.

"I want to just drive in runs," said Dunn, who leads the Sox with 36 home runs and 84 RBIs but broke his franchise record Wednesday by striking out for the 178th time. "We'll score runs. If I can do that, then everything else — whatever. Those to me are the two biggest deals.

"If you're scoring runs and driving in runs, what can people complain about? That's all I care about, to be honest with you."
