Ronaldinho has denied reports that he is on the verge of leaving Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro.

Turkish side Besiktas are reported to have made a bid for the 33-year-old who counts Paris St-Germain Barcelona and AC Milan among his previous clubs.

The 2002 World Cup winner recently helped Mineiro claim their first ever Copa Libertadores when they beat Olimpia of Paraguay in a penalty shoot-out at the end of a 2-2 aggregate draw.

The Brazilian superstar's brother and agent Assis recently met with Besiktas club officials but Ronaldinho rejected suggestions that a deal for him to move was in the offing.
