The Rockies and outfielder Dexter Fowler have agreed to a two-year deal, avoiding arbitration, the club announced Monday. The contract will pay Fowler $11.6 million, according to CBSSports.com's Jon Heyman.
Fowler, 26, had a career year in 2012. The switch-hitter had a .300/.389/.474 (117 OPS+) line with 13 home runs and 11 triples in his fourth full season as a major leaguer.
