Los Angeles Kings defenseman Robyn Regehr, who has been out for a month with a knee injury, is expected to be back in the lineup for Game 2 of the Stanley Cup finals against the New York Rangers on Saturday.

"He'll probably play," Kings coach Darryl Sutter said after Friday's practice.

Regehr had been cleared to play before the start of the finals but sat out of Wednesday's game with an eye towards possibly returning Saturday.

"I feel ready," Regehr said. "It just comes down to a coach's decision, what they want to do with the lineup. ... I feel good."

Regehr, who suffered the knee injury in Game 1 of the team's Western Conference semifinal series against the Anaheim Ducks, had already been cleared for contact. He skated with his teammates last week for the first time since suffering the injury and went through Friday's practice with no setbacks.
