Nate Robinson does little to change his reputation as a scoring guard who looks to supply energy and shots — and not always necessarily in that order — when he offers postgame analysis like this.

"We just had fun," Robinson said of Friday's preseason-closing victory. "It flowed. Overall, it was like kids in the playground, hanging out, having fun."

But for all the talk of Robinson's recklessness, consider this: After committing 10 turnovers in his first three exhibitions, he turned it over only six times in heavy minutes over the final four games. That's ball security.

"Coach (Tom Thibodeau) is big on repetition," Robinson said. "We run the plays over and over. He drills it in our heads to get guys in the right sets so I think we do a great job in the course of the game of taking care of the ball."
