Dave Robertson heard the boos as he began jogging in from the bullpen for the ninth inning but he knew better than to take them personally.

Less than 24 hours removed from Mariano Rivera’s emotional Bronx farewell Robertson — not Rivera — closed out the Yankees’ 3-2 win Friday night over the hapless Astros now losers of 13 straight.

Many of the 29846 at Minute Maid Park booed as Robertson jogged in from the bullpen starting chants of “Ma-ri-a-no!” to express their displeasure. Joe Girardi said Rivera was unavailable.

“I knew immediately they weren’t booing me; they were booing because Mo wasn’t coming into the game” Robertson said. “They weren’t happy seeing me come into the game. It’s OK with me. I guess it’s just part of the gig.”

Robertson threw a flawless ninth for his third save of the season as the Yankees snapped their four-game losing streak.
