Finally, Jose Reyes gave the scorned Metsfans something to cheer about.

Not only did Mets ace knuckleballer R.A. Dickeyend Reyes' 26-game hitting streak but Reyes lost a pop-up by David Wright in the sun that was ruled a double and led to the eventual winning run in a 6-1 loss Thursday afternoon at Citi Field.

Reyes went 0-for-4 on four meager at-bats. Playing with a sore right hand that is wrapped up with an elastic bowling-glove type bandage, Reyes popped to left, grounded to short and bounced out twice to first base, including in his final at-bat in the eighth inning.
