FOX MLB senior baseball writer Ken Rosenthal is reporting the Reds have agreed to a 1-year, $2 million deal with third baseman Jack Hannahan, pending physical.

He's a 32-year-old, left-handed hitter. The Reds need bench help.

Hannahan was teammates with Shin-Soo Choo last season in Cleveland, hitting 244/.312/.341 with four home runs and 29 RBI in 318 at-bats. He played mostly third, but he also played seven games at shortstop. He can first base as well.
