Pat White is back in the NFL and not just as some training camp arm while Robert Griffin III recovers from knee surgery. White has made the Redskins' 53-man roster -- along with RG3 Kirk Cousins and Rex Grossman -- according to the Washington Post's Mike Jones.

Why the Redskins are keeping four quarterbacks isn't clear especially since RG3 announced that he'll be the Week 1 starter.
White was originally the Dolphins' 2009 second-round pick in 2009 back when the Wildcat was in vogue. But he never developed as much of a quarterback or runner and a serious concussion suffered in a Week 17 game against the Steelers proved to be his last in the NFL -- until now.
