The Kansas City Chiefs under coach Andy Reid continue to retool on offense.

The Sideline View's Adam Caplan reported on Wednesday that the Chiefs are expected to trade with Arizona for Cardinals fullback Anthony Sherman.

Terms of the deal have not been announced by either team, but Caplan is hearing that Arizona is targeting secondary help, possibly cornerback Javier Arenas, in return.

It's a swap that makes sense for both teams. New Cardinals coach Bruce Arians has little need for a fullback in his pass-centric attack, but Reid will find use for Sherman in his West Coast Offense. The 2011 fifth-round pick figures as a lead blocker for Jamaal Charles, but that's a skill set still in progress for Sherman. ProFootballFocus graded him 19th out of 25 fullbacks as a road grader in 2012.
