The Browns are seriously considering a trade for Miami Dolphins wide receiver Davone Bess, the Chicago Sun-Times reported tonight.

Several teams are in the mix for Bess, and the compensation would be mid-round draft picks, according to the report. The Dolphins also called the Arizona Cardinals, St. Louis Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings and New York Jets, the Miami Herald reported.

"Sources tell me 99.9% receiver Davone Bess from Miami to Cleveland Browns for mid round picks," Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net reported.

The 5-foot-10, 193-pound Bess, 27, caught 61 passes for 778 yards and one touchdown in 13 games last season. In 2010, Bess established career highs in catches (79), receiving yards (820) and touchdowns (five).
