Reggie Bush was asked Wednesday if he anticipated playing vs. Chicago on Sunday in a big early-season division showdown.

He simply looked forward and said: "Yes."

He missed last week’s game in Washington because of a bruised knee but was a full participant in practice Wednesday and said he felt "good."

"I felt like it’s been forever but it’s only been a week" Bush said after practice. "It was good to get back in there today. Just to get back in to the swing of things.

"Getting my feet back underneath me and start to lay out this foundation and get ready for the Chicago Bears. Obviously it’s a big game since it’s a division opponent. We have our work cut out for us this week."

Running back Joique Bell played well in Bush’s absence last week (rushing for 63 yards and catching another 69) but the Lions will need all hands on deck including Bush’s big-play ability vs. a tough Bears defense this weekend.
