The Reds have signed outfielder Shin-Soo Choo to a one-year, $7.375 million contract, avoiding arbitration, according to CBSSports.com's Jon Heyman.
Choo, 30, rebounded from an injury-plagued 2011 season to have a .283/.373/.441 (131 OPS+) line with Cleveland over 155 games in 2012. The Reds acquired the lefty in a three-way December deal in which they sent Drew Stubbs to Cleveland and Didi Gregorius to Arizona.
