Reds starting pitcher Tony Cingrani had quite an interesting fourth inning on Sunday in Washington, DC.

The inning began with Denard Span striking out and reaching on a wild pitch. While that play isn't completely abnormal, it's rare when it breaks up a perfect game, which is exactly what happened when Span reached. He was the Nationals' first baserunner of the game.

The rest of the frame for Cingrani would go: double, strikeout, walk, strikeout, strikeout.

So Cingrani struck out four in the inning and left the bases loaded in the process.
