Another day, another bullpen meltdown.

But this time it was the Brewers' bullpen that couldn't get the job done, as the Reds scored five times in the eighth inning and three more times in the ninth to beat Milwaukee 13-4 and take the three-game series against the division-leading Brewers.

With the Reds clinching to a 5-4 lead, the Brewers sent Rob Wooten out to pitch the top of the eighth and he quickly gave up six singles to the six batters he faced.

Devin Mesoraco's single to center scored the first run and with bases loaded, pinch-hitter Skip Schumaker singled to right to make it 7-4. Billy Hamilton then singled to bring in another run.
