Pavel Datsyuk figures there's an upside to what he has gone through over the past month.

Datsyuk appears to have put a cold stretch behind him. On Sunday, he set up two goals as the Red Wings got by the Ducks, 4-2, at Honda Center. A day earlier, Datsyuk scored for the first time in 13 games, finding the back of the net twice in a 4-1 victory at Los Angeles.

The drought tested Datsyuk. He said he felt awful, felt 100% responsible for how little the Wings were producing overall.

He spoke of being more dangerous -- in his charming, still-broken English, it came out as "need more be dangerous" -- while his teammates spoke of how hard it was for them not to see him have more success.
