To fill their linebacker void, the Ravens could be looking no further than the AFC North. One of the rumors — tweeted by the Cincinnati Enquirer’s Joe Reedy —is that they are considering the Bengals’ Rey Maualuga.

The free-agent middle linebacker is coming off a career-best 122 tackles in 2012. He has already drawn interest from the Cardinals.

Maualuga is a four-year veteran, having been drafted in the second round out of USC by Cincinnati. You can add him to a group of possibilities that also includes (via ESPN.com) the Dolphins' Karlos Dansby, Packers' Brad Jones and Cowboys' Dan Connor. And even former Raven Bart Scott is on the list of available inside linebackers.
