Raul Ibanez isn't so old that he doesn't forget the feeling he had in the back yard as a kid.

"You play the game to get in that situation,'' Ibanez said of hitting with the bases full and the game on the line in the late innings. "When you play as a kid in the backyard, it's the bases loaded and two outs.''

Ibanez isn't a kid by any standard, but he lived a lot of fantasies last night when his two-out, grand slam in the eighth inning carried the Yankees to a 6-3 victory over the Blue Jays in front of a sweaty gathering of 42,819 at Yankee Stadium.
