Ron Washington preaches that all he wants from his starters is to keep the Rangers in the game.

Neftali Feliz can do that much. Dominate? Not as a starter. Not yet, anyway.

But not many fifth starters have the kind of stuff that would even make it a possibility.

The question, then, is whether Feliz's secondary pitches will be good enough to keep him in games through the sixth inning and keep the bullpen from overheating.

Against Cleveland on Saturday, in Feliz's last Arizona start, the answer was "almost."
