G Henrik Lundqvist said he pulled his left hamstring stopping Evgeni Malkin’s shootout attempt, meaning there’s probably some question as to whether he’ll be able to start tonight at Carolina.

"It’s fine, I think," Lundqvist said. "I don’t know what happened, it just hurt. It felt better after a minute or two.

"Hopefully, it’s nothing. … We’ll see how it feels [today]."

But what aggravated Lundqvist more was Penguins RW Matt Cooke running into his left arm as he tried to play the puck at 8:21 of the third period.

"I don’t know what he’s doing," Lundqvist said.

"Seriously, it’s just ridiculous. But it’s not the first time, right? It’s just him being him."
