The St. Louis Rams owned the No. 2 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft and traded it away to the Washington Redskins in a blockbuster deal that gave Washington Robert Griffin III. But as we found out yesterday, the Rams traded away a 2012 No. 2 overall pick for a 2014 No. 2 overall pick which might allow them to repeat history.

The Rams actual pick is outside of the top 10 but the Redskins No. 2 overall pick in this year’s draft is headed to St. Louis and according to Peter King’s MMQB column, the pick might not be done changing hands before the draft in April. King states that he spoke to Rams GM Les Snead who knows that the pick is coveted and hinted that he’d be open to working out a trade if one came along.
