The Raiders' defense held the Jaguars without a first down for almost 2 1/2 quarters and Sebastian Janikowski kicked four field goals as Oakland beat Jacksonville 19-9 in its home opener. The Raiders are 1-1 going into a Monday night game in Denver.

Reserve safety Usama Young in for an injured Tyvon Branch (leg) had two of the Raiders' five sacks. That's more than they had in any game last season and they have nine on the season. Oakland held Jacksonville to 121 yards of offense until two late garbage-time drives by the Jaguars.

Darren McFadden looked his old self running for 129 yards on 19 carries. He had several long runs in his second game back with the power-gap scheme after having a terrible year last year with a new zone-blocking offense. The Raiders are now 11-2 when McFadden runs for more than 100 yards.

Quarterback Terrelle Pryor got his first win in three career stats running for 50 yards and completing 15 of 24 passes for 126 yards. Marcel Reece scored Oakland's lone touchdown with a hard 11-yard run breaking a tackle to celebrate his recent three-year contract extension.
