The Raiders might end Darren McFadden’s season early. The same can be said for his tenure with the team.

The veteran running back was ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs, and coach Dennis Allen admitted Friday that injured reserve is a realistic option for the hobbled veteran.

“That’s something that we’ve got to consider,” Allen said. “With the running back situation the way it’s been -- last week we had all three of them out of the game -- you’ve got to take that into account, too. He’s close, but we’ve got two more games after this, so we’ll have to see where we go.”
