The Buffalo Bills might have to start an undrafted free agent at quarterback in Week 1 but apparently that's not a good enough reason to keep Matt Leinart around.

Leinart the 10th overall pick of the 2006 NFL Draft tweeted on Friday that he's been released by the Bills. Although Leinart later deleted the tweet this is the internet and nothing is really ever deleted forever.

Leinart's five-day career in Buffalo will probably most be remembered for the seven-yard pass he threw to tight end Lee Smith in the Bills 35-13 preseason loss to the Lions on Thursday. Leinart finished the game 3-of-10 for 11 yards while also throwing two interceptions.
