The Angels have been slumping this April just like they were slumping last April.

The only difference has been Albert Pujols.

Fittingly, Pujols was the one to break the Angels' five-game losing streak Saturday night. Down a run on the Houston Astros with two outs in the ninth and runners at second and first, Pujols delivered a walk-off double to score Luis Jimenez and Mike Trout and give the Angels their first win in a week, 5-4.

Earlier, Josh Hamilton ended the Angels' 19-plus-inning scoreless streak with a solo homer in the sixth, and Garrett Richards provided their longest start of the young season in his first chance.

Richards was perfect through three innings, then gave up a leadoff walk to Jose Altuve in the fourth inning and, two batters later, a two-run homer to Chris Carter after Howie Kendrick couldn't turn a double play on a groundout.
