Indefinitely suspended UNC forward P.J. Hairston will now wait until October to appear in court in relation to a speeding charge according to the Associated Press.

Hairston was originally scheduled to appear Friday but he did not show at a Durham County court and in fact his date has been postponed until Oct. 11. Hairston's attorney did not offer comment after leaving the courtroom per the AP.

Hairson was indefinitely suspended at the end of July by Tar Heels coach Roy Williams after he was cited for speeding reportedly doing 93 MPH in a 65 MPH zone in Salisbury N.C. The citation and the suspension came less than a week after Hairston had misdemeanor drug charges against him stemming from a June 5 traffic stop were dropped.
