Taillon didn't have a realistic chance to crack the Opening Day roster, but he could make his major league debut this summer if all goes well. The 22-year-old right-hander had a 3.73 ERA and 143/52 K/BB ratio over 147 1/3 innings last season between Double-A Altoona and Triple-A Indianapolis. Baseball America recently ranked him as the No. 22 prospect in the game.
