Two months ago, Jimmy Rollins predicted he would be holding another press conference at Citizens Bank Park.

It finally came Monday, after the Phillies' shortstop re-signed with the only team he has ever known in his professional baseball career, which started when he was a 17-year-old selected in the second round of the 1996 draft.

Rollins signed a three-year contract worth $33 million, with an $11 million vesting option for a fourth year that both Rollins and Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro Jr., said is easily attainable.
