Domonic Brown could be back in the Phillies’ lineup come Wednesday.

The All-Star leftfielder said Sunday that he expects to play Wednesday when the Phillies take on the Cubs at Citizens Bank Park.

Brown is scheduled to play rehab games for Single A Lakewood in Hagerstown Md. on Monday and for Double A Reading in Harrisburg Pa. on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old who still leads the team in home runs (24) RBIs (69) runs (51) and slugging percentage (.531) has been sidelined since July 23 with concussion symptoms.

Manager Charlie Manuel said the Phillies will make a decision on Brown’s return date after they evaluate his status following the rehab appearances.
