Those worries from early this season about Pavel Datsyuk not scoring have disappeared.

Datsyuk has returned to creating and scoring goals, and the Red Wings were the better for it Tuesday in a grinding 4-1 victory over the Penguins.

Datsyuk scored one goal and set up Johan Franzen for another as the Red Wings won their third consecutive game.

"Good players find a way to get going, their pride is on the line and they're competitive," Red Wings coach Mike Babcock said. "(Datsyuk) is a workaholic. I'm not concerned about him. He was dominant down the stretch tonight.

"He really turned his game up and that's what he tends to do in the bigger moments."
