Paul Konerko's return from the seven-day disabled list heads the list of four roster moves made Friday by the Chicago White Sox.

Infielder Orlando Hudson and left-handed reliever Leyson Septimo were placed on the 15-day disabled list, while left-hander Hector Santiago was promoted from Triple-A Charlotte.

Konerko hasn't played since suffering a concussion after being struck in the right temple by an elbow by Kansas City's Jarrod Dyson.

Hudson was placed on the DL, retroactive to Thursday, because of a left toe bruise suffered Wednesday while fouling a pitch from Toronto's Ricky Romero that forced him to leave the game.
