Through the first five days of Detroit Lions training camp the plan with safety Louis Delmas was pretty clear. He would practice get a day off and then repeat the cycle. This was all a part of the Lions' plan to keep him healthy as they didn't want to overwork him and cause his knee injury to flare up.

The last couple days the Lions have not stuck to that same plan. The Lions were off on Wednesday and Delmas got Thursday off as well. The thinking was he'd be back on Friday but he was once again absent from practice. That means he's now gotten three straight days off. It's entirely possible this could be by design but it's a bit concerning that he's now missed back-to-back days of practice. If he's not back on Saturday it may really be time to question what's going on.
