If it came down to choosing either Nathan MacKinnon or Jonathan Drouin the general manager of the NHL’s Florida Panthers could tell you who he’d select in June’s NHL draft.

“But I’d have to kill you if I did,” said Dale Tallon with a laugh.

But it’s a decision he may very well have to make given the Panthers currently sit in last place in the NHL and both of the Halifax Mooseheads’ blue chip prospects are projected to be top-five picks.

Tallon showed up to the Metro Centre on Friday and Saturday to watch the Halifax Mooseheads play against the Saint John Sea Dogs in the first two games of their QMJHL playoff series.

Like everyone else he was impressed with what he saw.
