Spring training or not, Pablo Sandoval's walk-off homer in Monday's 4-2 victory against Kansas City was a sight for sore eyes.
Giants hitters have struggled to score runs, and Sandoval's average had dipped to .200 before his three-hit day ended with his two-out, two-run blast against Greg Holland in the ninth.
Sandoval made a good guess against the right-hander, who is vying to be Kansas City's closer after leading the American League by stranding 31 of 33 inherited runners in 2011.
