Jets running back Mike Goodson, arrested May 17 on weapons and drug charges, expects to return to practice on Tuesday, according to a source.

Goodson’s lawyer, Tony Fusco Jr., said Thursday that Goodson was being held out of practice by both the Jets and the NFL as he tries to settle his off-the-field issue.

Goodson, who reportedly has a lengthy history of legal problems, including being sued for paternity by three different women over a nine-month span from 2010-11, pleaded not guilty to all five charges against him on Wednesday in front of a New Jersey Municipal Court judge. He is expected to do the same in front of a Jersey Superior Court judge on June 12.
