The Denver Nuggets have granted the Toronto Raptors permission to speak to the team's general manager Masai Ujiri, according to a Yahoo! Sports report.

A meeting between Raptors senior management and the NBA's Executive of the Year is expected within the next 24 hours, according to Yahoo! Sports' league sources.

The Raptors are seeking a new GM after the team announced Tuesday that Bryan Colangelo would no longer serve that role for the club, existing exclusively as the team's president.

Ujiri, who is at the conclusion of his existing contract with the Nuggets is believed to be prepared to leave Denver for the chance to rebuild the Raptors organization, according to the report.
