As the Nuggets zero in on potential candidates to be their next head coach, a source said the team has received permission from the Indiana Pacers to talk to assistant coach Brian Shaw and permission from the Memphis Grizzlies to talk to head coach Lionel Hollins.

The Nuggets also need a general manager, and Pete D'Alessandro remains a top candidate for that position.

The Los Angeles Clippers (fourth-place finish in the Western Conference), the Brooklyn Nets (fourth in the East) and the Grizzlies (fifth in the West) also are looking to fill a coaching vacancy.
