Nene has done exactly what the Wizards had hoped this off-season.

Nothing.

By the end of this month the 7-foot power forward/center will be back at Verizon Center and training with the Wizards.

He’ll train here for four weeks at Verizon Center leading into training camp which begins in the last week of September.

“He’s doing great. He has an off-season home in Denver so he has been spending some time there” Wizards coach Randy Wittman told CSN Washington. “Monday though Friday it’s physical therapy. It was important for him to get his body back to health.”

Nene had his least productive season in five seasons. He missed 21 games averaged only 12.6 points and 6.7 rebounds as he finished the year on the bench. Nene had injuries to his left foot both knees and both shoulders.
