If you’re looking for a Christmas gift for your favorite Rangers fan, you should probably hold off on the Ian Kinsler or Elvis Andrus jersey. Jurickson Profar might be a safe option, though. So might Luis Sardinas or Rougned Odor, but you probably can’t find those in any stores.

On FoxSports.com, national baseball writer Ken Rosenthal wrote Saturday that an Andrus or Kinsler trade is “inevitable” this offseason while saying that a package that includes Jurickson Profar is highly unlikely, as the Rangers don’t want to trade away more young talent after doing so at each of the last four trade deadlines.

This follows up with an October 7 report in which SportsDay's Evan Grant wrote that the Rangers are unlikely to send Jurickson Profar back down to the minors next season. However, Grant wrote that of the remaining two middle infielders, Kinsler is the more likely to be traded.
