I wonder when athletes are going to grow up and avoid using drugs that will get them suspended from the game they love so much?

It just surprises me how many prospects or current players are being handed suspensions because of performance enhancing drugs. You figured guys would look at those who have suffered from the mistakes they’ve made in this leagues history and steer clear of things like that.

Minnesota Twins second base prospect Eddie Rosario was handed a 50 game suspension back in November after he tested positive for recreational drugs. Now according to TwinCities.com, Rosario took some pills after he supposedly hurt his arm.

Now this could be Rosario’s second strike against him and could have had some time added onto that suspension. I’ve seen reports of the 22 year old of receiving another 100 game suspension but after looking into it a little more I’ve learned that it was only a 50 game suspension.
