With Chris Bosh out of the Miami lineup since getting hurt in the opening game of this series, the Heat has needed more offensive contributions from guys not named Dwyane Wade and LeBron James.

In Game 3, it was Mario Chalmers. Udonis Haslem came to the rescue in Game 4.

On Tuesday, Shane Battier joined the club.

Battier, who had gone 2 of 12 from three-point range in the first four games of this series against Indiana, hit on his first three attempts from beyond the arc in the first quarter and drilled his fourth three in the opening minute of the second half.
