Chris Young felt the wrath of 38,269 Mets fans at Citi Field Saturday afternoon after his career-tying four strikeout performance in a 5-0 loss to the Padres.

Young, who signed a one-year, $7.25-million deal with the Mets this offseason, struck out every at-bat, including fourth inning with runners on second and third and one out with the Mets trailing 4-0.

Young has gone 13 games without an extra base hit and is 10 of 53 (.188) in his past five games. He’s batting just .196 with four homers and 15 RBI in 163 at-bats.
