ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper said only four players are reasonably worthy of consideration by the Chiefs for the first pick in the draft.

None is quarterback or even a wide receiver, positions of great need for the Chiefs. The group includes two outside linebackers, Jarvis Jones of Georgia and Damontre Moore of Texas A&M, a defensive tackle in Utah's Star Lotulelei and an offensive tackle, Luke Joeckel of Texas A&M.

None at this point appears to be a great fit with the Chiefs. They already have one Pro Bowl outside linebacker in Tamba Hali and a first alternate choice in the other, Justin Houston.

They've drafted a defensive lineman in the first round in three of the last five years, including Dontari Poe in 2012. They have Branden Albert at left tackle, though he would be an unrestricted free agent if the Chiefs don't re-sign him in the next couple of months.
