A week after the Texans lost 41-28 at New England and were eliminated in the divisional around of the NFL playoffs for the second consecutive season, owner Bob McNair is still disappointed. Those who know him best aren't surprised that McNair is already focused on next season and what his team can do to improve.
McNair is naturally optimistic. His glass is always half full rather than half empty. He knows what his team did well this season. He also knows where it needs to improve.
The Texans finished with a franchise-best 12-4 record and won the AFC South for the second consecutive season. They won a playoff game at Reliant Stadium and were eliminated on the road for the second season in a row.
