On why the NBA lockout was a good thing:
"I wanted to help the young guys make it to the Olympics. Obviously now, it was a brutal choice looking back on it. I shouldn't have played, but it was what it was. It really took after the Euros where I was finally (able to recover), which was a good thing for me that there was a lockout. There was two months where I really did nothing, just put the feet up, which I should have done after the championship."
