Matt Kemp has now complained while playing most of the last two weeks with a bum shoulder he hurt crashing into a wall in Colorado.

He finally agreed to undergo medical tests that took him out of the lineup Saturday to determine the severity of the injury, and the results of an MRI showed he probably should have sought medical treatment sooner.

The MRI revealed inflammation but no structural damage to his left (non-throwing) shoulder he hurt in the Aug. 28 game at Coors Field. He had a cortisone shot administered on Saturday.
