Mario Balotelli has opened the door on a move to Arsenal after his agent insisted he is ready to quit AC Milan.

Balotelli's agent Mino Raiola has claimed the Italy striker has been left "sad and desperate" after AC Milan failed to back him following his disappointing World Cup.

AC Milan vice-president Barbara Berlusconi claimed Balotelli was "replaceable" and the ex-Manchester City striker has been widely criticised in the Italian media.

Adriano Galliani, another AC Milan vice-president, has defended Balotelli but the Italian giants are believed to be ready to sell for around £25million because of financial reasons.
