Liverpool defender Tiago Ilori is in talks over a loan move to La Liga side Granada.

The 20-year-old centre-back has yet to figure for Brendan Rodgers' side despite his £7m move from Sporting Lisbon in the summer.

Valencia are also interested in the youngster, who has recently played for Portugal Under-21s.

Ilori is behind Daniel Agger, Martin Skrtel, Kolo Toure and Mamadou Sakho in the Anfield pecking order and needs a move away from the club in order for regular first team football.

The Portuguese was on the bench for Liverpool in their 2-0 FA Cup victory over Oldham earlier this month.

While Liverpool have no shortage of centre-backs, they are on the lookout for full-backs following Jose Enrique's knee surgery.

Valencia still believe they have a deal in place to sell Aly Cissokho to Liverpool at the end of his loan period in January but his form has meant that is under question.
