Rookie tight end Joseph Fauria was fined $7,875 for shoving Dallas Cowboys safety Barry Church late following a fumble return in the Detroit Lions’ 31-30 win at Ford Field last week.

Fauria was called for a personal foul on the play, and his penalty helped set up a Cowboys field goal four plays after Dallas recovered a Calvin Johnson fumble.

The Lions (5-3) erased a 10-point fourth quarter deficit and won on Matthew Stafford’s 1-yard touchdown run with 12 seconds on the clock.
